Out of the Office

Today marks my last day of work here in Brazil. The next few days will be spent saying my goodbyes and packing up the last of my belongings. I played my last game of poker last night and it was damn good. My poker group gave me a plaque to say thanks for starting the group and whatnot, I'm gunna miss those guys. And Saturday we're having a going away BBQ for me here with a lot of the folk from the embassy. It's pretty sad to have to leave, hopefully I'll run into some of these people at another post down the road. It happens.

On September 5th I'll be on a plane on my way to Washington D.C. and Quantico to do 3 days worth of training. After that I'll be back in my one true home, Texas! This much excites me, it's been over a year since I've gone back to the motherland. Until I get there I probably will not be posting anything. Quantico only offers one internet cafe which is remotely located, closes early, and its usually packed. I'll get home on the 9th and head straight up to Edmond, OK to watch my brother play football there. As soon as I get home after that and get my laptop set up I will throw up a pic or two and give you guys some updates. I look forward to seeing all my friends back home!
