I almost did MSG duty, how is it? All my staff ncos were telling me it was a lot of fun trying to convince me to go. In the end I realized that I wasn't going to do 20 yrs. What's your excuse?

MSG has to be just about the best duty in the Marine Corps! I live in a house, we have a maid and a cook, there's only six of us in this country...It's nothing like being in the fleet. And after realizing that I didnt want to spend 20yrs in the Corps either, this was the perfect way to get away from the fleet. I've enjoyed all my time in the Corps, but I'm just not a military career man.
